Weather you get two weeks off or just one, here are some things you can do during your STUVAC (student-vacation / mid-set break) to stay productive and motivated for when you go back to uni.
Before we start, we just want to give a little disclaimer. We know that this break is meant to give you a bit of a breather from uni, and just take it easy for a week or two. Please make sure to give yourself a break for you mental and physical health, and please please please don't burn yourself out during this time off.

Catch up on missing work
Its a great idea to use this time to slowly catch up on any missing work that has been piling up. Finish all this missed workshop activities, watch any lectures you haven't, and do some of that pre-reading.
Get organised
weather you use a hard copy filing system, or keep everything online, having organised notes its a must have. Take this time to print out any notes or work you haven't yet and file it, or rename your computer files and put everything away properly.
(we have free editable printouts here to help you keep organised!)
Clean your space
There is nothing worse than sitting down to study and being so unmotivated from your space. Take this time off to give your study space a fresh new look to help you focus when you get back to uni / school. Heres a checklist of things you can do to clean up and freshen up your space:
Wipe off and clean your counters. We know you have a nice layer of dusk sitting at the back of your desk.
Sort through all your stationery. It's a great idea to throw out / donate any stationary that doesn't work or that you don't use anymore, and you can see what things you need to restock on.
Reorganise and pack away any work books, files, or textbooks that have just been left lying around.
Hang up some pictures or a mood board to help keep you motivated (and sane) while studying.
Catch up with family and friends
Of course you need to take some time off to catch up with your family and friends. We know uni and school can be very full on, especially if you are going full time. It can become difficult to fit in time to spend with your loved ones while still trying to stay onto of your studies.
